At the end of the training, participants will be able to:

Develop a competence in Effective Networking’s Preparation

  • Know the importance of professional networking skills and relationship management to success in life and at work for
  • Excellent first impressions and
  • Influencing skills and management
  • Assess one’s level of personal charisma socially and professionally
  • Importance of Charisma Quotient (CQ) in influencing others
  • Charisma Quotient (CQ) assessment to determine one’s level of personal charisma
  • The 5 Charismatic Impact-Factor Groups to enhance one’s personal charisma for excellent first impression and influencing management with whoever one meets, whether in a social, work or business event/function
  • Be guided through the various Preparatory steps for a successful and effective networking time for any event/function from:
  • Setting objective/s to preparing one’s presence and branding in image projection
  • Knowing how to carry oneself well in etiquette and mannerism to learning strategic communication skills for immediate connection, etc.

Develop a competence in Effective Networking’s Process and Procedures

  • Be guided through the various Procedural steps for a successful and effective networking time for any event/function from:
  • Order of approach in walking into the room for first entrance to starting a conversation
  • Deploying communication etiquette to knowing the cultural differences when communicating with people of various nationalities and races
  • Utilising verbal to non-verbal (body language) communication aspects for decoding interlocutors and message
  • Asking appropriate questions to finding commonalities and soliciting information for work
  • Carrying out subtle self-promotion for self-value enhancement to asking for referrals and help when needed, etc.
  • Discover one’s personality traits through a profiling assessment
  • Importance of knowing various types of personalities in the world
  • Go through a personality profiling assessment (MACDOER™ Spectrum Personality Profiling) to determine one’s personality type and traits
  • Be guided through on how to network and interact with people of various personalities

Develop a competence in Effective Networking’s Post-Event Follow-up

  • Be guided through the various Post-event follow-up steps for a successful and effective networking time for any event/function from:
  • How to sort contacts for efficiency to when to call the contacts
  • Which communication method/s could be better to be used for follow up to how to start the conversation at the start of the follow up, etc.

Develop an Overall competence in Effective Networking Skills and Relationship Management at the workplace for corporate success

  • Putting all of the above skills learnt into practice with assessment
  • Case studies and role-play of proposed real-life networking situations for more focused learning and direct application
  • Completion of course with assessment

Synopsis

Whether in any work, business or social event, networking and interacting with people effectively is an essential and highly important skill to learn and acquire. Moreover, mastering the art of relationship building and management will surely add an advantage to any life, work, sales or service situation. Look no further as this training programme touches on utilising Personal Charisma strategies and Personalities Management to enhance one’s influence and presence in every networking function. That’s not all – learners will go through a personality profiling assessment to discover themselves, their traits, and how to embrace and interact harmoniously with other personality types. Furthermore, to enhance one’s presence in any networking event that involves food and drinks, business dining skills with table manners and cutlery usage will also be shared. Other than the profiling and the dining display set with live demonstration, the training will also include hands-on training elements of discussion, case studies and role-plays to enhance learning experience.
